PolyGone Joins World Economic Forum’s Summer Davos to Discuss the Future of PFAS Destruction
June 26, 2026
The World Economic Forum’s 2026 Summer Davos was held from June 23-25 in Dalian, China. Nathaniel Banks, Co-Founder and CEO of PolyGone Systems, joined the hub session "Ending Forever Chemicals" to discuss how PFAS destruction, recognized as one of the top 10 emerging technologies this year, can be deployed at scale by shifting the paradigm from mere containment to permanent elimination.
As an UpLink World Economic Forum ecosystem company, PolyGone Systems has been pioneering technologies to capture, concentrate, and destruct microplastic contaminants. “PFAS and microplastics are increasingly considered interlinked and will likely depend on similar destruction techniques to achieve widespread environmental contaminant remediation," said Nathaniel Banks.
Looking ahead, PolyGone is dedicated to scaling its filtration and destruction technologies, turning this shared environmental challenge into a scalable reality for cleaner global water resources.
